New Look to My eCoach
Along with the adoption of our new, colorful logo, we have done a
much-needed makeover on the outside of My eCoach (the public area
before you log in). All information about My eCoach
tools, resources, and features are now listed and very easy to
view. We've included news, frequently asked questions, membership
access levels, among other things. more...
Please
take a moment to search through these new pages to learn what exciting
things My eCoach has to offer. You may even learn about a feature or
two that you didn't know you had access to. These new informational
pages will be also available throughout the inside of My eCoach (the
area after you login) in
the near future.

Class Teams
Annual access for students
My eCoach offers Class Team Memberships for students. To
get a better understanding about what projects can be done with Class
Teams, here are three sample projects created by teachers with
their students: Penguins, Mrs. Blanton's Class and Learners for Life.
Class Team Members can:
- comment directly on the class website
- create blogs only the class members can access
- participate in private threaded discussions
- develop and publish websites and surveys
- collaborate and co-author projects and presentations
- use a safe and secure messaging system
With
Class Teams, students receive the access of an
Individual Membership for the school year. Class memberships are only
$100/school year for up to 40
students. This option is open for teachers who understand and
frequently use the tools and features in My eCoach. For teachers new to
My eCoach, we will be offering an affordable eTeacher online course in
the next few months. Contact us to receive more information or to sign up a classroom for next year.

Tip: Combine Multiple Files into One PDF
Monthly Newsletter Tips and Tricks
Tired of having to organize and email numerous documents? Instead,
combine multiple files into one document quickly and easily with Adobe
Acrobat Professional (versions 8 and 9).
Go to File > Create PDF > From
Multiple Files. From the top left, select Add Files. Browse to add the
files from your computer that you want. Move files up with the Move Up
button from the lower left. Then choose a file size and conversion
setting to determine the size and quality of your final pdf. Your
documents will now be ordered with page numbers. Hit Next and select to
merge documents into one pdf or a pdf package. Now you can email just
one pdf or pdf package versus emailing numerous documents.
Note: You can also embed pdf files into the Universal Builder in My eCoach by uploading your PDF file to Embedit.in and then copying and pasting into the embed box.
