Sandoval and Burke champion needed funds for Columbia Explorers Academy

Jose Barrera during a recent visit to Columbia Explorers Academy, 4520
S. Kedzie Ave. on the Southwest side of Chicago. Both legislators
worked diligently as a team in Springfield to champion the funds
through "Illinois Jobs Now!", the recently approved capital
improvement plan. The funds will be used academic programs and to
upgrade the academy installations in the near future. "I am proud of
the results of our combined efforts with Rep Burke during the recent
General Assembly and very pleased to see that these funds will directly
improve the lives of hundreds of students on the Southwest Side of
Chicago", said Senator Sandoval.
