football coach; Phillip C. Perry, Curie H.S. Principal; George Pratt
football coach and Senator Martin Sandoval (D-Chicago).
Chicago IL. Continuing their efforts to improve
education on the Southwest side of Chicago, Illinois Senator Martin A.
Sandoval (D-12) and Rep. Daniel J. Burke (23rd District) worked
diligently during the General Assembly's spring session to secure
$500,000 in state funding through the capital improvement project "Illinois Jobs Now!"
for Curie Metropolitan High School, 4959 S. Archer Ave. These funds
will be invested in athletic fields and programs for hundreds of
students.
