Senator Sandoval, Speaker Madigan and Congressman Lipinski make Central Ave. Bypass project a reality

Sen. Martin Sandoval (D-12), Chairmanof the Illinois Senate Transportation Committee, along with several Federal and state Transportation leaders announced $170 million in state funding for the start of the long-awaited "Central Avenue Bypass" project that will connect that thoroughfare between 65th and 73rd. streets on the Southside of Chicago and Bedford Park.
