Greetings!

We hope this letter finds you well, prospering, and enjoying your summer. It's hard to believe it's already July. We've been so busy, we've hardly noticed the year passing. This has been a busy and interesting month. Some of you well know that we had a slight plumbing issue last month; we welcomed the addition of a new member to our WWEC family. We were blessed with the delivery of a six by three foot portable potty to our parking lot. Thanks to Johnny on the Spot and Simpson's Plumbing for minimizing everyone's inconvenience and getting us back up and running in less than a week! When you drop by, you won't see our brand new sewer pipes, but you will certainly see new green grass growing under a truck load of bright yellow straw!

If you've come in or driven by in the last week or so, you've probably noticed that we have office space for rent in the WWEC.  This seems a great time to publicly wish our Holistic Health Coach, Wendy Tran, luck as she adjusts her focus toward becoming a full time student. I'm sure Wendy's clients are as thrilled as we are, that she remains a part of the WWEC family and will be using our Multipurpose Room for a variety of group activities, seminars, demonstrations, and all sorts of creativity. We will continue to feature Wendy's informative articles and deliciously healthy recipes in our Newsletter.

If you or someone you know, happens to be in the market for office space, please drop by the WWEC or give Steph a call at 828.333.0598 to schedule a viewing. There's an advertisement in this Newsletter, along with coupons for Childbirth Education Classes, Massage and Acupuncture. Please continue to support the Events at the WWEC; we have an abundance of great facilitators and instructors renting our Multipurpose Room for a variety of events and classes.  Ladies, you'll love this month's Women's Spiritual Journeys, with Lisa Garrett, and Flight of Fancy's Dreamwheel Circle with Lisa Rough; bring the kids to Music Together and help them discover their inner musician! If you know of any home school groups in need of space for group meetings or classes, the Multipurpose Room is a great solution!

Thank you, as always for being a part of our Community. Your support of our work is what keeps us growing. Please let us know if we can improve our services in anyway. Have a fun and extremely safe holiday weekend! We've reprinted the 4th of July Event Round up by Tony Kiss.

Warmly,

Trish, Ruth, Stephanie, Wendy, Heidi, Natalie, Holly, Mary, Nancy and Kathryn

Music To
gether
Through July 31st
Saturday Mornings  10-11

Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for
babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.

Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical. All children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in the music of our culture, provided that their early environment supports such learning. By emphasizing actual music experiences rather than concepts about music, Music Together introduces children to the pleasures of making music instead of passively receiving it from CDs or TV.

Central to the Music Together approach is that young children learn best from the powerful role model of parents/caregivers who are actively making music. The program brings families together by providing a rich musical environment in the classroom and by facilitating family participation in spontaneous musical activity at home within the context of daily life.

Music Together is committed to helping families, caregivers, and early childhood professionals rediscover the pleasure and educational value of informal music experiences. All our teachers have successfully completed Music Together's training program. Music Together applies the latest research in early childhood music development to the program. A curriculum pioneer since 1987.

Music Together was founded with the goal of providing the highest quality music and movement experiences to as many young children as possible, involving their parents, primary caregivers and early childhood professionals in the educational process. Music Together is therefore dedicated to the thorough and professional support of Music Together licensees and teachers and their work with children and families. This support includes training, business mentoring, networking services, national and regional promotion, customer referrals, business technology, ongoing research and development, the production of audio, video and print materials, and the distribution of musical instruments and related products.
