Mamatime Groups
New Groups Starting
Every Month!

Next Group starts March 18th.

Mamatime is a 12 week group that meets two hours weekly. The groups are compromised of ten new moms and their infants and a trained facilitator Mamatime provides the safe and non-judgemental space that all new moms need to explore the joys, successes and challenges of becoming a new mom. Pertinent topics are discussed weekly including infant sleeping issues, returning to intimacy, going out with your baby and much more.

You can have an incredible community of new moms going through the postpartum transition together. You can have on-line support anytime you need it from other new moms. You can learn great tips and tricks that other moms have figured out about infant sleeping, handling family advice and family visits, going out with your baby and more.

Call Shelley Tom to join the next Mamatime group starting March 18th and meeting Wednesdays from 2-4pm. Dates and times of new groups change monthly to accomidate a variety of schedules.

Our Price: sliding scale $100-150 for 12 week series

Wishing to become pregnant?

Fertility Massage, Yoga, and Acupuncture now available at the Women's Wellness and Education Center.

Ruth MacNair is a nationally certified massage therapist with specialty training in prenatal massage and fertility massage.
Fertility massage is proven to reduce stress which better allows for successful natural and IVF conception.

This  highly specialized massage is relaxing and deep allowing the body to open, cleanse and balance to prepare for conception.

Deep specific techniques are used within each session:
-Castor oil packs to begin the cleansing process
-Jaw release to loosen the hip and pelvic regions
-Cranial-sacral energy work for support
-Reflexology or stimulation of points in the hands and feet
-Abdominal massage to assist with the digestive process
-Pelvic friction, done over the sheet, to increase the blood flow to the spine, reproductive organs and pelvic region
-Relaxation techniques: visualization, meditation, prayer, intention.

The preconception period can be an extremely stressful time for everyone involved. Studies have found that massage therapy works to decrease the body's physical signals of stress, such as heart rate and brain waves, which some experts say may play a role in the ability to conceive. Fertility massage is not intended to replace medical procedures however; it can be done on its own or to compliment medical fertility treatment. If you are currently under the care of a doctor you should consult with them about any form of care that you receive.
