The Pro Bono Partnership, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was the first and remains the leading legal organization in the country to focus on providing both:
- Free business legal advice to nonprofit organizations; and
- Pro bono opportunities for in-house attorneys.
The Partnership provides direct business legal advice to individual nonprofit organizations, volunteer opportunities for attorneys, a legal resource helpline, and an annual series of workshops, as well as publications on important legal issues for nonprofits.
The Partnership assists nonprofit organizations in Connecticut, New Jersey, and Westchester, Orange, Rockland, and Putnam Counties in New York, that cannot afford to hire an attorney. We assist organizations in surrounding areas on a case-by-case basis.
