Long-term air pollution exposure may increase hospitalization risk

Older adults may be at increased risk of being hospitalized for lung and heart disease, stroke, and diabetes following long-term exposure to fine-particle air pollution, according to a new study by HSPH researchers. Read more

Students and other members of the HSPH community gathered recently to watch a global simulcast from Berlin sponsored by TEDx, an offshoot of the popular TED Conferences, on April 5. Afterwards, alumna Meghna Chakrabarti, SM '01, co-host of Radio Boston on WBUR, led an HSPH panel in a discussion of the themes raised by the speakers. Read more
