| Rotating night shift work may increase type 2 diabetes risk in women
Women who work a rotating (irregular) schedule that includes three or more night shifts per month, in addition to day and evening working hours in that month, may have an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes when compared with women who only worked days or evenings, according to a new study led by HSPH's An Pan and Frank Hu. Former President Bush visits HSPH- affiliated AIDS clinic in Tanzania
On World AIDS Day, George W. Bush and Laura Bush visited the new Mnazi Mmoja Center for Excellence in HIV Care and Education in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) helped establish the Center and currently provides management and leadership development training at the Center as part of the School's efforts to improve AIDS research and the delivery of AIDS care and treatment services in Tanzania.
