Running for president in DRC, working in Chelsea and Botswana: HSPH alumni profiled
The Harvard School of Public Health AIDS Initiative Fall 2011 newsletter features a profile of HSPH alumnus Oscar Kashala, SD '92, who is running for president in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Also profiled is Kate Powis (pictured), MPH '09, a physician and researcher who spends half the year at the Chelsea Urgent Care Clinic on the outskirts of Boston and the other half at HAI's facility in Botswana. New computer training option
Training courses on hundreds of software packages are available for free to the HSPH community at the Instructional Computing Facility in Kresge LL19. Log on to one of the two Lynda.com stations in the lab to access courses on common software titles such as Microsoft Excel or more technical topics. Learn more
