Dean Frenk joins UN group to combat poverty

Dean FrenkDean Julio Frenk has joined a United Nations advocacy group to eradicate poverty. The group includes two Nobel laureates, businessmen and philanthropists Bill Gates and Ted Turner, and others. They have been tasked with galvanizing support for achieving the Millennium Development Goals by the target date of 2015. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon made the announcement on June 23, 2010.
