Come rock out at this year's San Diego Rock 'N' Roll Marathon.
Get ready for San Diego's annual Rock 'N' Roll Marathon taking place on May 31, 2009. This is the original Rock 'N' Roll Marathon and is celebrating its 12th year. This year's course will be the same as last. The scenic 26.2 mile course is ideally suited for runners and walkers alike. The great course will begin in Balboa Park and end at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Point Loma. It will feature 45 live bands, 2,000 spirited cheerleaders and 19 themed aid stations. This year's headliner concert will be the English Beat. Famous for their fusion of soul, reggae, rock and punk, the six member band has a great dance beat which is celebrated by fans everywhere. With all the entertainment on hand, the runners, walkers, and spectators shall have plenty to keep them energized from start to finish.

San Diego County NAMI Walk 2009 Summation.
This year's San Diego County NAMI WALK had a record number of walkers!! Over 2000 people participated. The final totals for the event are still being tallied, since the donations are accepted for 60 days after the walk! So please feel free to keep donating to the SD NAMI WALK. The "Some Like to Skip Team" exceeded its team goal, as well as, their donation goal. Strategic Business Communications would like to award the Victoria
Inner Harbour Marriott with the Strategic Business Communications OOZE
Award for May 2009. The OOZE Award is our way to show our appreciation
for the outstanding attitude and follow through of the entire staff on
property. We want to show that the standard of service is just a
standard, but those who go above and beyond should be recognized and
awarded. That is how we developed the OOZE Award. We want to express
our gratitude to the Victoria Inner Harbour Marriott for demonstrating
what we at SBC believe to be outstanding, not only in theory but in the
practice of every staff member at the hotel. Every time the Hernandez
family gave the Victoria Inner Harbour Marriott an opportunity to
help, they never missed an opportunity to shine.
