Greetings!
Thank you for all you do for the cats. With your help Operation Catnip spayed over 2,000 cats in 2010! We couldn't have done it without you.
Time is running out so please take a moment to help cats in 2010.
Operation Catnip isn't just about sterilization. Its about educating the community about free roaming cats and providing a life saving alternative to the shelter for thousands of cats every year.
In 2010, 1759 cats and kittens were put down here in Alachua County. While its too late for those cats, you and I have more than just hope that one day our community will stop the killing. We are fortunate enough to have Operation Catnip to give us the opportunity to help community cats.
This year, 629 fewer cats were put down than in 2009. If we work together we can do better in 2011. Your contribution will make it possible for Operation Catnip to sterilize even more cats next year.
With the support of so many volunteers Operation Catnip is able to keep costs down but it still takes about $30 to help a cat. If you believe that cats deserve a chance to live, protected from disease and free from the cycle of reproduction, there is no better time for us to join together to help our community's cats.
Time is running out to make a donation in 2010. Whether it's $30, $60, $90, or another amount, your tax-deductible gift will have a direct impact on the life of a community cat.
