April News from the
DANDE COMPANY Personalized Products Custom Gifts & Awards
 DandeMan
As the days start to turn a little brighter with springtime sun, we're seeing that many of our incoming orders are starting to reflect summer activities: car shows, golf tournaments, and baseball leagues, just to name a few.

A common thread we're hearing, however, is that sponsorships are down, resulting in increased challenges for many locally based activities. We know that with the current economy, everyone is tightening their financial belts. But sponsorships play a vital role in our community, not only for the groups they directly support but also for our local economy.

Sponsorships are more than just giving money to a favorite group. Use your sponsorship as an opportunity to get your word out to the public, giving further reach to your advertising budget. Also keep in mind that many of these sponsored activities bring in visitors to our area, who then spend money in our area, allowing our local residents and businesses to, in turn, spend more money in our area, and so on.

For a great article on the business value of sponsorships, see the Small Business Blog link in the Practical Practice sidebar below, and feel free to contact one of our marketing specialists for helpful marketing, sponsorship, and advertising ideas.
Featured Product: Promotional Products
Look around on your desk -- how many items do you see that have another company's branding on them? A pen, coffee cup, letter opener, maybe even a calendar magnet from the Dande Company (and if you don't have the last item, we'll be happy to send you one).
 lanyards
These items, known as Promotional Products, are, individually, relatively inexpensive items that have been custom imprinted with a logo and/or message for use in marketing or advertising. Some products are common in everyday life, such as pens, mugs, bags and notebooks. Other products are almost always used in a promotional context, such as stress balls, lanyards and koozies. Sometimes you may be surprised at the variety of things that can be imprinted. However, the common element in all Promotional Products is that they are personalized, and personalization is what Dande Company is all about.

For large quantity orders, Dande Company will facilitate your order of Promotional Products through outside vendors we have established relationships with. You don't have to waste your time researching online providers or worrying about whether the job will be done correctly or on time.

But one of the largest advantages you have in selecting Dande Company to handle your Promotional Products is that for many items, if you need a relatively small quantity, we can do the work in-house and don't require you to order hundreds of items that will sit on your shelf for months. We're also happy to set up a fulfillment arrangement for you, allowing us to order supplies in quantity and pass the savings along to you, and giving you the flexibility to receive small quantities as you need them and change your personalization at will.

So whether 1 or 1,000, give us a call -- we're here to Promote and Personalize for you.
Service Highlight: Sublimation
Technically speaking, sublimation is the process of changing directly from the solid to the gaseous state without becoming liquid.

In our business, it's the process that allows us to create full-color images on hundreds of products. If you've ordered items of this nature from Dande Company before, you probably heard us refer to your item as "printed;" or, it's the method we use to personalize your product that is "not engraving."

Whatever you want to call it, our product manufacturers and suppliers are constantly adding to their lines of sublimatable products. In fact, there are so many new items being released, we haven't posted them all to our website yet, but we'll be happy to show you samples we have in the store and let you browse through our catelogs to find just the right item for your occassion.

Said It Better

"The lanyards are an important part of camp. They work wonderfully and the children treasure them as a keepsake from the weekend even
after camp."
