On the eve of International Earth Day (March 20) and with U.S. Earth Day coming up (April 22), we here at Dande have been adding to our stock eco-friendly products for your awards and business use that we think you'll appreciate. But this eco-effort also got us thinking about the origins of Earth Day and the grass roots efforts that started it all and the similarities of today's grass roots efforts in the political and economic arenas. And this reminded us of our own grass roots efforts to contribute to the community, make conscious local buying decisions, and assist our fellow businesses in the pursuit of success. One person -- one organization -- can make a difference, but if we all join together in this community effort, we can all be proud of the outcome in the end. |

We're In This Together
Dande Company is pleased to have issued its first "We're In This Together: Community First" rebate check to Lakewood-Steilacoom-Dupont Soccer Club.
Dande Company's "Community First" campaign is a two-pronged approach to make contributions to groups and organizations operating to enhance the quality of life within the community and to educate the public about the importance of purchasing locally.
The Lakewood-Steilacoom-Dupont Soccer Club has been providing children the opportunity to play the "world's game" for more than 30 years. They are a member club of the Tacoma Pierce County Junior Soccer Association in Distrcit 3 of Washington Youth Soccer, with teams ranging from Micro (coed ages 5-6) through U18 boys and girls. Player registration for their upcoming season is now open online at http://lakewood.bonzidev.com.

New for 2009, Dande Company is adding eco-friendly products to its awards, desk accessory, and personalized products categories.
