Dande Company Announces Award, New Staff |
Dande Company is pleased to report that it was awarded 5th Place in Rowmark's 2009 Las Vegas Design Challenge and to announce the addition of James Valela to its staff.
Rowmark, a premier supplier of plastics and sublimatable materials to the awards and engraving industry, sponsored the challenge with instructions to create a unique presentation using their products. The winning entries are being displayed this week at the Awards and Recognition Association's annual conference in Las Vegas.
Drawing inspiration from the many car shows it supports throughout the year, Dande Company designed a display board to promote the annual car show organized by and benefiting Job's Daughters Bethel 27. Using individually engraved and layered pieces of sign material, a Mt. Rainier and classic car graphic was assembled like a vertical puzzle. The board also contains literature holders for car show registration and information brochures and areas to display past dash plaques and current sponsors.
Dande Company used the opportunity presented in this design contest to enhance its skills in creating interior signage and other business-use displays. Nearly a dozen different sign materials were used in creating the entry, several of which were newly released by Rowmark this past year, giving Dande Company staff valuable experience in how to best use the materials for customer requests. James Valela has joined Dande Company as its new Relationship Manager. Bringing more than 20 years of customer service with him, Mr. Valela will be working with Dande Company's business customers. With Mr. Valela's arrival, Dande Company is also expanding its free delivery service to all business customers within Pierce and south King counties.
