Tornadoes slam mid-western States
The parsonage of the Harveyville United Methodist Church lies in ruins after a tornado tore through the small town in Kansas, injuring at least eight and causing damage to 60 percent of the town.
UMCOR's ability to respond quickly after disasters strike would not be possible without funds received during One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS).
Gifts to this March 18 offering underwrite UMCOR's "costs of doing business." That helps the United Methodist agency keep their promise that 100 percent of every other gift made to a specific UMCOR project can be spent on that project-not on home office costs.
