In Prayer
Grow Your Church Workshop March 10-11
"I've gone to this church for 11 years, and I'd never seen some of these people before," - Suzanne, Woodland UMC, Morgantown.

The folks at Woodland UMC were inspired to reach new people in their community after being part of a Grow Your Church Workshop.

Now it's your church's turn!

Join the congregational development team this spring at beautiful Blackwater Falls State Park for Growing Your Church 2012. Space is limited, so register soon! Your church's group will save $100 if they sign up by February 13.

Bishop Lyght's Service archived online
An emotional Bishop Lyght reminded those gathered at a service of celebration in his honor to "remember that God goes before you, go forth, know God prepares the way."

Couldn't make the service? It's archived at wvumc.org, along with photos from the service and reception. You can also hear Bishop Lyght reflect on his life in ministry in this piece.

Music: St. Olaf Choir
Considered to be a  pioneer in the American a cappella choir tradition, the St. Olaf Choir has been making great music since 1912. The choir performs in Charleston at the Clay Center January 31. Christ Church UMC, Charleston will host the group.

Enjoy this performance of "Light Everlasting."
"O Light Everlasting
O Love never failing
Illumine our darkness
And draw us to Thee"
