Bishop Lyght celebration
The Conference will honor Bishop Ernest S. and Eleanor Lyght with a farewell worship service and reception on January 7, 2011. You can find the event details at http://wvumc.org/calendar, and there's an RSVP option as well. Please note that registration is not required, but is helpful for planning purposes. We hope to see you January 7!

Deadline for remittances
All 2011 fair share remittances must be in the Treasurer's Office by Jan 6, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. Monies received after this date and time will be credited to 2012. Please clearly mark all remittance forms "FOR 2011". Please do not remit 2012 payments prior to January 6, 2012.

2011 Statistical packets
The 2011 statistical packets were mailed to the pastor of every charge in the Conference last month. Completed reports are due in the Administrative Services Office by Tuesday, January 31, at 4:30 p.m. Please use one of the following methods to submit your reports: - Mail to: Conference Statistician, P.O. Requirements include a bachelor's degree and three years professional experience, along with strong program development and grant writing skills. The ideal candidate will have experience/skills in the following areas: - developing and managing personnel and finances, including budgeting and fundraising
- knowledge of best practices of internal and external communications; including digital awareness/comfort with modern media platforms
- strategic planning
