The conference will honor Bishop Ernest S. and Eleanor Lyght with a farewell worship service and reception on January 7, 2011. Brown endorsed for episcopacy
The West Virginia Annual Conference Delegation of the Northeastern Jurisdiction selected the Rev. J. Montgomery (Monty) Brown for endorsement as the episcopal candidate from the West Virginia Conference. The selection was made at the delegation's meeting December 9 in Charleston. Brown's name will be placed before the June 2012 session of the West Virginia Annual Conference for formal nomination as the Conference's episcopal candidate.

Deadline for remittances
All 2011 fair share remittances must be in the Treasurer's Office by Jan 6, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. Monies received after this date and time will be credited to 2012. Please clearly mark all remittance forms "FOR 2011". Please do not remit 2012 payments prior to January 6, 2012.
