Join the School of Congregational Development, live!
In the 1980s The General Board of Discipleship and The General Board of Global Ministries created a training experience for new church start pastors. In the last ten years, School of Congregational Development (SCD) has blossomed to include training for bishops,
district superintendents, conference staff, pastors and church teams from existing congregations who desire to learn how to create and develop disciple-growing congregations.
This year our focus is on Transforming Your Church Culture. You can join the plenary sessions online here.

Christian Education Sunday is September 11
The way to best prepare God's people to deal with all the perils in the world is to teach them how to study, utilize, and come to love the Word of our Lord. That's the purpose of Christian Education. Your church can support this ministry through a special offering on September 11, 2011.
