Engage with Annual Conference!
The Communications Team will stream video of Annual Conference live over the internet again this year. You'll find a link for it at wvumc.org/conference; and on the Facebook page at facebook.com/wvumc during Annual Conference. We recommend a high-speed internet connection and updated internet browser for the best viewing experience.
Other media efforts
We'll also be tweeting and posting regular updates to the Facebook page during Conference. Our twitter event hashtag is #wvac11.
The Daily Journal, will be offered as a .pdf attachment daily during Conference via this enews list, and in print form. Print papers will be available each morning of Conference in the narthex of Wesley Chapel.
Finally, please register for Annual Conference before June 1. Questions about registration should be directed to Judi Kenaston at 1-800-788-3746, ext. 34 or wvumcconfsec@aol.com.

Call for Cleaning Buckets
Recent storms throughout the United States have nearly depleted the United Methodist Committee on Relief's (UMCOR's) funds for domestic disasters. You can give here online through UMCOR (Conference Treasurers, please note these instructions for local church collection).
Cleaning Buckets (or Flood Buckets) are also in short supply. They will be collected at Annual Conference again this year; there's a list here of what should be in each bucket.
"States affected by recent tornadoes and flooding aren't ready for work teams just yet," said Conference Disaster Relief co-Coordinator, Rev. Dan Lowther. "We'll let folks know when they are."
Questions? Contact Dan and Sue Lowther, Conference Disaster Relief Coordinators. Their contact information is at wvumc.org/disasterrelief.

Prayers for the unchurched
Many in our communities don't know how loved they are by God or how much they need Christ. Join Bishop Lyght in prayer for the unchurched during Annual Conference. Please bring the names of folks in your community who may not attend church. They can be dropped off at the evangelism table in the gymnasium during Annual Conference. Last year more than 1300 names were prayed for. If you have any questions about this ministry, please e-mail Rev. Bill Dawson.
