Campus Ministry Sunday is August 22

Our Conference supports college students at nine colleges and universities through active campus ministries.  This Sunday, August 22 is Campus Ministry Sunday. Churches are asked to consider a special offering on this day to support the Christian community and service opportunities for students who participate in United Methodist Campus Ministry programs.   Rev. Jim McCune, chair of Higher Education and Campus Ministry for the Conference has written a prayer for churches to use when taking up offerings this week.

Church treasurers, the remittance number for this Special Sunday is 766.

Going to college can sometimes be overwhelming for students. You can help make sure they know God is present in their new adventure.
