Annual Conference Reminders
wvumc.org/conference is the place to go for
information and resources on
Annual Conference; including what to bring (disaster relief supplies,
prayer
cards, etc.), where to stay, and the pre-conference workbook. Below are a few highlights.
Register
for Annual
Conference
With
just a few mouse clicks, you can register for Annual Conference. Registering early is helpful; less standing
in line: more fellowship with colleagues and friends. Fill
out the form and click the 'submit'
button to send your registration directly to conference secretary Judi
Kenaston. You should receive a
confirmation e-mail within a few days of registering online. Have
questions? E-mail Judi at wvconfsec@aol.com or
call her: 1-800-788-3746 ext. 23.
If you choose to register by mail (download and print a blank form here), you'll receive a confirmation card within two weeks.
Early
registration deadlines: June 7, 2010 for online
registration; June 1,
2010 for those submitting by mail.
Special
Meals
There's a complete list of special meals and contact
information on pages
19 and 20 of the pre-conference workbook. There's a search box at the top of every .pdf; type the name of
your
lunch, for example "minister's mates", and that term will be highlighted
automatically. If you find the page hard
to read, try holding down the 'CTRL' key while tapping the +/= key (next
to the
backspace key on most computers).

Bishop's Bike Ride
Every June bike riders travel from Charleston to Buckhannon helping people in the name of Christ. This year money raised supports children and
families in West Virginia, Haiti and Africa impacted by HIV/AIDS.
