Scholarship Opportunity for women over 35
The Georgia Harkness Scholarship Merit Award is provided to support women over 35 who are currently certified candidates for ministry as ordained elders in the United Methodist Church.
The $5000 award may be applied to tuition, fees, and room and board at an accredited seminary. Complete details on the Harkness Awards can be found here. The deadline for application materials to receive a fall 2010 award is March 21, 2010.

Christ Church United Methodist in Charleston presents a Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival this Friday and Saturday evening, January 8-9 @ 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at Christ Church's website.
