Global AIDS Fund
At Annual Conference 2005, we pledged
to raise $1 for every member toward a goal of raising $100,000 for the Global AIDS Fund.
Thanks to great efforts we have raised more than 75% of our goal.
Please consider taking a special offering for World AIDS
Day, on November 29 or December 6 to help the
West Virginia Global AIDS Fund Task Team raise the remaining $25,000 of our pledge.
The General Board of Global Ministries has an excellent web page devoted to World AIDS Day, and you can
download the bulletin insert below to inform you congregation about
World AIDS Day.

Kee Street United Methodist Church in Princeton, WV hosts 'Family Night Out' every third Wednesday of the month.
Families can choose as much clothing as they need from the church clothes closet. Children are entertained while their parents browse, and later everyone eats a meal together. Attendance has grown from 25 to 150 people in 17 months.
"We have never advertised Family Night Out but God makes sure
those that are in need find out about it." Church member Janice Walters said, "We have never ran out of food
