The Local Church Connection Kanawha Run United Methodist Church hosts their second
annual Christmas Giveaway Saturday, November 14, beginning at 10a.m. at the Banks
District Volunteer Fire Department in Rock Cave, WV.
The day-long event features gently used clothing, baby items, canned goods, and
household items offered at no cost to all who come. "We have found it's a good opportunity for us
as a church to show we care about people," said Rev. Dan Lowther. "It shows a faith that lives."

Christian Concert in Buckhannon
Saturday, November 7 at 7:30pm, the
Christian band Relevant Worship will perform in Wesley
Chapel on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon.
"We feel this is an opportunity to fill the chapel with youth from all denominations," said Russ Bush, lay leader at Chapel Hill UMC and organizer of the concert. "We praise God with one voice."

Workable Evangelism Event
More than 20 people will be at Broad Street United Methodist Church in Weston on Nov. 14. They'll leave with a Workable Evangelism Plan for their church, developed with Dr. Robert Pierson, author, UM pastor, and founder of Leadership Nexus. Dr. Pierson will lead from his book, Needs-Based Evangelism: Becoming a Good Samaritan Church.
This is a great event for an Evangelism
Team from a local church to consider attending. Lunch and a copy of Dr.
