What is the Central Conference Pension Initiative?
The Central Conference Pension Initiative is meant to help Pastors serving in countries often torn apart by war and political strife. For a complete list of countries in the Central Conferences around the world, click here. After A lifetime of service, these pastors and their spouses often have little or no income to meet their basic needs. Our Conference wants to help - and so far, more than $128,000 has been raised in support of this initiative. If you have yet to contribute and feel called to do so, download a pledge form and return it at your convenience.CCPI's website is a terrific place to learn more about this initiative. CCPI is also featured on pages 6-7 of the fall edition of the West Virginia United Methodist.

World Communion Sunday
Traditionally celebrated on the first Sunday in October, World Communion Sunday is one of the six churchwide Special Sundays of
The United Methodist Church. World Communion Sunday provides
scholarships for U.S. racial- and ethnic-minority students and
