| "Of all the attitudes we can acquire, surely the attitude of gratitude is the most important, and by far the most life-changing." -Zig Ziglar
If you don't already do so, make EVERYDAY Thanksgiving. I don't mean starting the Turkey Diet but rather the conscious act of giving thanks. The emotion of gratitude attracts more of what it is you appreciate. Start a Gratitude Journal and record five things, people or events that you are most grateful for daily. Consider including the growth you experience from obstacles and challenges.
I'll start. I AM GRATEFUL FOR ...
- My clients - I appreciate the inspiration I receive from witnessing their courage and strength, the satisfaction in sharing my knowledge and the wisdom I receive from knowing and working with them.
- The attendees of my presentations and classes -
I appreciate their thirst for gaining organizing knowledge, the ability to spark their enthusiasm to create the lifestyle they desire and the opportunity to work with them if they decide they want help.
- My friends and family - I am grateful for their love, support and laughter; I appreciate the wonderful beings that each and everyone of them is.

AVOID THE CLEAN SWEEP
"What is the Clean Sweep?" you might ask. That's where you de-clutter by putting everything that's on the kitchen table, desk or other surface in a bag or box and hide it in the closet.
"Well it's quick and effective when company is coming," you might reply. In the short term, yes. In the long run, NO! Put things where they belong. Don't ponder long on where something goes. Don't beat yourself up for letting it accumulate. Think quick and act: Put Away ... Toss ... Recycle ... Act on Soon.
"Not everything has an assigned place so I can't put them away." It is much easier to return things to their home when they actually have assigned homes. If this isn't your forte, here's how to begin:
1. Analyze the functions that take place in each room.
2. Assign zones for each activity (homework, toys/play, mail, entertainment, etc.)
3. Place like items together in the appropriate zones.
4. Voila! A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING AND SOON EVERYTHING WILL BE IN ITS PLACE.
