Fall 2009 Success Stories

U09F Buckingham Bansheess

Our U9 Girls BU Banshees had a fun and successful fall season. In ICSL league play they went 8 wins and 2 close losses outscoring opponents 31 goals for and only 4 against. They took second place in the division and will be moving up to the Top division next year. They also had good success and a lot of fun at several tournaments winning the Colleen Reilly Horsham tournament, taking runner up at the Al Perlini (Warminster) and Runners up again at the Cape May George Pratt Tournament. The Cape May weekend was a blast finishing up with a beautiful day Sunday and many of the Girls hit the boardwalk all afternoon for food, rides and all around good time.

U09M Buckingham Crashers

The U-9 Boys Crashers ended their first season with an extremely impressive performance at the Deep Run Turkey Classic tournament. The boys finished the tournament with 5 consecutive halves of shutout play and finished as runner-up with a 3-1 record. They earned beautiful trophies with a combination of outstanding defense, goalkeeping and opportunistic scoring. The Crashers scored more goals in their last 3 games of the tournament (11) than they had in their previous 6 games. The boys (and their parents!) are fired up for continued success this winter.
