Bienvenidos!
It is with great pleasure that we bring you our first
newsletter. Here you will read about the latest
happenings at Alameda Theatre Company. In this
issue we feature a Call for Submissions to the 2009
De Colores Festival of New Works, Canada's FIRST
playwrights unit for Latin Canadian writers. We also
have our "Feature Artist of the Moment" article, which
will be a a part of every issue. Get a personal
account of the artists talking to you about upcoming
projects, why they do what they do, etc.
We feel it is imperative that the Latin American voice
become a larger presence on our Canadian stages.
And as more and more people like you become
attuned to the extraordinary talent and dedication to
the craft that exists within our growing community of
artists, we know that this goal will become a reality.
Please sit back and enjoy the stroll down La Calle- We
know you won't be disappointed!
Hasta luego!
