Greetings,
As we wait for the warm weather to arrive, we begin to anticipate the final days of our co-op term. I hope that you have gained valuable knowledge, and made great connections with your coworkers as well as your employers. As your fellow co-op student, I would just like to say thank you very much for allowing me the opportunity to create and design engaging and informational material that has you in mind. I have also truly appreciated the opportunity to co-coordinate events with Julia and Sonya. I have learned that there is a greater purpose to Co-op Connections than I ever imagined and I encourage you to reach out to this office with all of your feedback and opinions so that they can better help you-the co-op student, in your future endeavors.
If time permits you to, please stop by their office in Speare Commons, or e-mail Sonya Mariotti at s.mariotti@neu.edu with your thoughts. Co-op Connections has given me a different perspective of not just how Student Affairs operates at Northeastern University, but how I can make a significant change to better serve a group of students who have unique as well as everyday issues.
As I will be transitioning alongside some of you back into classes, the Office of Co-op Connections would like to take this time to welcome our new Co-op Coordinator, Olivia Kalinowska who will begin her co-op term beginning in July. Olivia brings a fresh perspective on student life and is very excited and eager to begin working for Co-op Connections.
Again it has truly been a pleasure and I wish all of you a wonderful and safe summer.
Thank you,
Alexa Harper-Lewis
