TranscenDance Studios is thrilled to announce the release of our summer class schedule! New programs include: - Contemporary Jazz

We have also expanded our Teen/Adult program - beginner level classes for ages 14 through adult. The Teen/Adult program now includes: - Intro Teen/Adult Tap
- Intro Teen/Adult Ballet
- Intro Teen/Adult Hip Hop
You can expect class recommendation sheets to be handed out in class within the next couple of weeks.

Parent Observation Week 4/23 - 4/29
Parents are invited and encouraged to observe classes this week beginning Monday, April 23 through Sunday, April 29.
Our dancers are excited to show what they have been working on in preparation for our recital and teachers will be available to answer questions on costumes, show rehearsals, etc.

Practice Your Recital Dance On YouTube
Look for an email in the coming week with a YouTube link to your class recital dance. Videos are private and are only accessible through the link. Emails will also include an attachment of your recital music specially edited.

Parent Volunteers Needed For Recital  We are in need of volunteers to help pull off our studio dress rehearsal, theatre dress/tech rehearsals, and our matinee and evening recitals.
Volunteers receive one complimentary recital ticket (for someone else if you are a backstage helper), and exclusive pre-sale seat reservations for additional tickets. All backstage volunteers will be able to watch their dancer when it is their time to perform. Siblings 15 and older are welcome to volunteer. Please email Gerrie at greesetds@gmail.com and specify which position and what day(s) or show you would like to help with.

Studio Dress Rehearsal 5/17 at TDS
- 2 Dressing Room Attendants (keep community room secure)
Theatre Dress/Tech Rehearsal 5/31 & 6/1 at Guerin Prep High School (pick one day or help both days for two complimentary tickets) - Photo / Video Order Table Attendant
- Bake Sale Attendant
- Merchandise / Raffle Table Attendant
- Backstage Security Dad
- Class Attendance Check In / Organizer (make sure dancers are all there, seated together in the theatre, and ready when it is their turn on stage)

April Contest: TDS Facebook Cover Photo
Attention lovers and haters of the new "Timeline" layout on Facebook: TDS is looking for a "cover photo" that epitomizes what the studio means to you! Winning photos will be displayed for the month of May on the TranscenDance Studios' Facebook page. Photos may not display any logos (TDS logo is okay) and anyone featured in the shot must give consent to have their picture posted on Facebook. Photoshopped and graphically modified images are accepted. To enter, simply share your photo on the TDS Facebook Wall with the caption: "Cover Shot Contest." The deadline to submit your cover shot is April 30, 2012. The winning photo or photos will be chosen on May 5. TDS reserves the right to modify, reproduce, or use any submitted photo/image for promotional purposes.

TDS is excited to announce that the winner of the "Design The Recital T-shirt" contest is Jillian H.! Recital T-shirt order forms will be available as we near the show date. T-shirts will be available for pick up on recital day. Nice work Jillian!

 This year we will be holding two separate shows, a matinee and evening performance.
The matinee will be showcasing our Beginning level dancers as well as our Company repertoire. The evening performance will be comprised of Intermediate and Advanced level dancers. Family members of Company dancers and dancers in both shows will receive complimentary admission to the evening performance if they purchased tickets and attended the matinee show.
Recital packets detailing dancer's assigned show, dress rehearsal schedule, photo, video, and ticket sales information will be handed out in class within the next couple of weeks.
If you have a pre-arranged conflict with any of the above dates, please let us know immediately. We do our best to solve problems when made known far enough in advance.
