Hi!
I thought you might like to hear from someone other than my mom and dad for a change! I am getting ready to head out on my first mission trip. July 7-14 I am going to Arizona with The Ember Cast! Tony Sheng leads The Ember Cast and invited me to come on this trip. I met Tony in Hungary at staff conference with our Missions Organization, Christian Associates International.
The purpose of the trip is to reach out to the community in Queen Creek, AZ and will focus on church planting and church based community outreach. Since this is what our family does, this interested me. Ministry activities include serving with ReStore, their food and clothing pantry; Friends Feeding Friends, their homeless ministry; and various other community projects.
In addition to funds that I am working for, I need to raise another $475 to cover the costs of this trip. Your prayers would be appreciated as well as any financial support you would be led to donate.
