Ok, most of you know this already, but just to make sure... Yes, it is true!

We are packing the U-Haul on 31MAY and heading for Texas.  The main reasons for the move are; 1) it's a strategic location for recruiting because it provides central access to the US and good access to Europe, 2) provides a strong sense of community and friendship, 3) Austin Christian Fellowship will hopefully be a good fit for the entire family, 4) Megan's family is in Austin and Houston, 5) the cost of living is very reasonable and finally, 6) we will be closer to many of you - our friends and partners in ministry!!

We have learned that a "double move" is quite common as part of re-entry to a "home" culture from a cross cultural mission.  We believe Colorado has taken a large chunk of our reverse culture shock; we hope to both move away from this location and move toward a new location with more excitement and enthusiasm then we had when we left France.

 We are committed, for both family and mission, to figuring out a scenario of sharing time between Europe and the states.  For mission, my recruiting role needs to be played out in both the Americas and Europe.  For family, France still feels like home...

Our plan is to spend the summer of 2013 in Europe.  Megan would love to provide care for CA's missionaries and their families, while I am able to strategically recruit with, and for our CA teams.  We will be in Aix-en-Provence in time to work at [iccp]'s summer camp and spend a number of weeks there working and being part of our community!
