As my signature, at the bottom of every email says, my job now is to Shepherd God's people towards their calling. And I take that job very seriously.
If you're a numbers person check this out. If you're not, let me summarize - it's going very well!! (Now jump to the bottom and watch the video on Glasgow.) So far this year:
- 98 people have attended our Intro to CA
- 66 have turned in applications
- 35 have been through our Engage Assessment Weeks
- 24 new missionaries have joined our staff.
- 13 have already landed in the field.
And remember these people are all trusting God to provide their support, just like Megan and I are; and in today's economy (by human standards) that is no small feat.
Which brings me to a point of invitation. If you are already investing in this ministry, then thanks so very much! And... please consider a special year-end gift and/or an increase in your commitment for 2012.
