Joyeux Noël
This year God has lavished Aix en Provence with his love, mercy, grace, and joy. I am so thankful that God is allowing us to be a part of this! Thank you so much for your continued support and I hope that you have a Christmas filled with laughter, family, and true joy.
Bonjour!
God has been answering our prayers. He has provided for our family and our ministry here. He has continued to draw people near to him. He has blessed our annual Christmas Carol Service. He has made my calling clear for the next step in The Journey. God has been answering our prayers.
50 serving from Aix, 80 from the U.S., 100 in the choir and orchestra, 800 candles in 1,050 people's hands. The 2010 Christmas Carol Service was amazing and the message of Jesus Christ was shared in both French and English. Both Megan and I had speaking parts and Alexandra carried the first candle all the way from the back of the massive cathédrale to the front stage, where she lit my candle; I lit the other Pastor's candles and the flame was spread. This year for the first time the entire service was streamed on the web live!

Sunday night, I introduced myself for the LAST TIME as the Executive Pastor of [iccp]. I start in my new role, Recruiting Team Leader for Christian Associates International (CA), on 01JAN. CA is a $4M, 200+ person missionary organization with 51 missional initiatives on 5 continents. I will be involved with [iccp] here in Aix as I get the recruiting up and running and then sometime late summer will transition to Colorado. I'm looking forward to the challenge, but we as a family are grieving the loss as well. Five years our family has lived here in France. At times, it has been beautiful. At times it has been very painful. God has made us stronger. To quote the words I often say, it has been "very hard but very good".
Your prayers would be very much appreciated.
- For Megan, Olivia and Lexi as they continue the hard work of pressing into life half a world away from their "old friends" and family, navigating language and cultural differences on a regular basis, still, after five years here. And as they begin to process saying goodbyes to "new friends", whom through common adversity, have become like family.
- For Teal as I transition into the role of leading the recruiting activities for Christian Associates. And as I continue trying to lead my family well.
Thank you for your love, your friendship, and your support.
Joyeux Noël!
Teal, Megan, Olivia and Alexandra Rapp

"Fund-raising is as spiritual as giving a sermon, entering a time of prayer, visiting the sick, or feeding the hungry! We are declaring we have a vision that is amazing and exciting. We are inviting you to invest yourself through the resources that God has given you - your energy, your prayers, and your money - in this work to which God has called us." - Henri Nouwen, The Spirituality of Fund-Raising

Thank You for praying!!
Olivia's broken wrist is healing very well. She has her cast off and it is getting better each day.
Thank you for partnering with us in the Gospel. God's definitely in it. He continues to bless us and cover our needs. We are so grateful to Him and to you! Leading the work God has called me here to do and maintaining enough support to be here, is nearly two jobs. Your financial support and prayer support are a huge blessing to us!

Story Time
- He came to church for the first time in many, many years.
- She first came to [iccp] a year ago. Now she is very involved in our community, leading and serving!
- She was able to pray with this person. Just to sit together and pray for her.
- Even in his struggles, God is teaching him to have a thankful heart.
- God has used her time in Aix to restore her view of the church. She is being discipled and is eager to dig deep into her faith!
