We are jumping into our 5th year here at ICCP, but before we do, I want to tell you about a few amazing events I had the privilege of being a part of this summer.  I was asked to officiate two weddings - my first two weddings!!  I had a blast and got to counsel with each couple for a number of weeks leading up to the weddings.

At one of the weddings Olivia and Lexi were asked to read in French.  Check out the attached pic of the programs listing their names!  They did a terrific job with their near perfect French accents.  I challenged each of the couples towards having a "FULL marriage" based off John 10:10 & 11, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 'I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.'"  I used the acronym FULL and walked through some of the areas we had talked through in our pre-marital counseling:

F - Forgive Always
U - Unconditionally Love
L - Listen Well
L - Laugh Together
 
Both services were beautiful and I loved getting to be a part of helping these couples make this sacred covenant before their friends and before God.

Story Time
·         She's just arrived in Aix from the UK and feels encouraged by the message Sunday night and by the love she has already encountered in our community.
·         She's from Sweden.  Marian met her in French class and she told Marian she didn't believe in religion, but then started asking questions about God.  She has now come to church twice and came to our last baptism.  Her questions now center around Jesus.
