Bonjour ,

It is nearly time for Aixpedition Atlantis; The Search for Life!!  This year 10 ACF'ers (Austin Christian Fellowship) and others from Vanguard University and Mount Ararat Baptist Church will be joining with many volunteers here in Aix to help!  We have been planning for months and this week our teams begin arriving to jump in with us.  It truly is a massive production and, because it aligns so well with our values (Abide, Connect, Bless), we feel it is a valuable use of our resources.

Abide - Camp gives us a chance to teach children about Jesus, and allows teams from around the world to come see God moving here in Aix-en-Provence.

Connect - Camp allows us to connect with many families and provides an opportunity for people outside of Europe to come serve God with us.

Bless - Camp is a terrific way to bless families in Aix.  Those of us who live in Aix are also blessed by the partnership of each of the people that pay their way to come serve alongside us.

Here is an awesome 3 minute video of the past four camps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5rw2xHhNuY

Below are pictures of the scale models that have been built by a very talented member of our community.  When ACF arrives, we will take a week to turn these models into reality and build the rest of the camp on our friends' 5 acre property.  Work days begin all together in prayer at 6:30AM - long, hot days!  The following week is camp and the final day, all the families are invited to spend the day experiencing what their kids have been doing all week, followed by an all afternoon BBQ.

Story Time
A recent email:
My husband and I, by chance, found your church as we strolled the streets of Aix on our recent visit. We were welcomed to join in the service and I must tell you how impressed we are with your Christian community.  Not only did we feel really welcomed by everyone, the message delivered that afternoon was one of the best sermons I have heard.  My husband, Iranian by birth, was impressed and touched by the delivery of the message.  I, a Christian, have heard many sermons, but I must say, the young man that afternoon was indeed a wonderful representative of Christianity!

We have returned home to Washington,DC, still touched by our chance meeting with your organization.Thank you for the ministry you are sharing with others.
With Best Wishes, Yvonne

Prayer Requests
That Jesus would continue to reveal Himself to the people we are involved with here in Aix!

For new and renewed connections with families here in Aix as well as everyone coming to help
