We had a great time last weekend at our annual Easter Picnic. The vision behind the Easter Picnic is it to a be a place of connection for anyone and everyone. This week we had our Maundy Thursday service. It's a very powerful night of worship and sensory reflection on the Last Supper, the washing of the disciples feet, the agony in the garden and the betrayal of Jesus. There are different stations, each one allowing you to reflect on a different aspect of the night before Jesus gave Himself for us.

 

Tomorrow we will have our Easter Sunrise Service (in just a few hours actually...), then will attend our French church service, then participate in a proclamation of unity between all the churches in Aix-en-Provence - catholic and protestant and finish the day together as a team enjoying Easter.  Monday we will hike up Mont Sainte Victoire together as a church and eat lunch at the top of the mountain.  It takes about 3 hours to climb it, so it's a good hike.
