Zone Pressure Diagnostics For Optimum Air Sealing & Insulation

The Energy Conservatory is sponsoring a free webinar titled Zone Pressure Diagnostics for Optimum Air Sealing & Insulation on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 CDT.

Simply go to this link to register. https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/180832294

This free webinar is ideal for HVAC contractors, builders, insulation contractors, energy raters, energy auditors and weatherization professionals. This webinar will teach the building science technique of using zone pressure diagnostics to determine if the pressure boundary and thermal boundaries are aligned. Aligning the pressure and thermal boundaries assures optimal performance of the insulation. It will also teach advanced zone pressure diagnostics techniques to help determine how much air leakage there is between the house and an attic, crawlspace or garage zone. It is a must-attend event for those professionals who want to help their customers save home heating and cooling energy.

Individuals that are certified through the Building PerformanceBPI logo Institute, BPI, may obtain continuing education units, CEUs, by attending the live webinar.  To receive up to 1 CEU credit, you must include your BPI identification on the registration page for the webinar.

An archived copy of the webinar will be posted on The Energy Conservatory website soon after the conclusion of the webinar.

New Webinar System

The Energy Conservatory is now using GoToWebinar to produce our online webinar events.  We hope that it will allow us to provide a high quality experience for the attendees.  The new service can be accessed by any PC, desktop or laptop, with Windows XP, Server 2003, Vista or Windows 7.  To access with a Mac you must have OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger).  You can also access the webinar on an iPad, you must download the GoToMeeting app from the iTunes App Store in order to view the session.

If your computer is on a network, and you have not attended an online event with GoToWebinar, be aware that GoToWebinar will require some downloading and installing of some small applications.  You may need to check with your IT adminstrator to ensure that you are able to see and hear the webinar.  Audio is also available by calling in to the number identified when you sign in for the webinar.

With GoToWebinar we will also be able to record the live session for viewing at a later time.  The link for the recorded session will be posted on The Energy Conservatory website soon after the webinar, generally in 1 to 2 weeks.  Please be aware that CEU credits can only be earned by attending a live webinar.

In the weeks and months to come we hope to provide you with more webinar sessions that are timely and informative.  We will also be rebroadcasting the webinar on Duct Testing sometime in the coming weeks.  The Duct Testing webinar will also be eligible for BPI CEUs.  Watch for The Energy Conservatory Newsletter in your inbox for more details.  Please feel free to forward this email to someone you think may be interested in our webinars and our newsletter.
