PORTICO jackson Celebrates...Trolley Style!
There's reason to celebrate over at PORTICO jackson. After being awarded the bid to be the exclusive tourism publication for Downtown Jackson Partners and the Greater Jackson Partnership last month, publisher Karen Gilder opted to treat her contributing writers and photographers to a party. That party came Fondren style - complete with libations...and delicious Sal & Mookie's eats like paninis, wings, and fried ravioli! A packed trolley got a tour of notable Jackson sites while enjoying a beautiful March afternoon.
Planning a party? Want to do something different this time around? We can help! Contact us with your party plans in mind or let us help you plan an event to remember!

JSU Students Explore Fondren The Fondren Express once again traveled around the world in an afternoon, this time with international students from JSU. Ok, so we didn't go around the world, but the representation on board that day did! Students from China, India, Romania and other countries took part in an afternoon of Fondren fun, experiencing a taste of the funky neighborhood we call home.

Riding When They Want: Jack Goes Green! The snarky attitude. The "we do it our way" mantra. It's all part of what makes the capital city's favorite on-air jukebox a favorite of ours, too! Jack FM is a little out of the box - just like the trolley, and so, we are thrilled to be partnering with them for this year's Hal & Mal's St. Paddy's Parade this Saturday downtown. Station general manager Jason Williams is excited about this co-op effort Saturday, saying he hopes to form a long-term relationship with the Fondren Express. A lucky Jack listener, along with Jack FM staff, will be on board, and rumor has it, they'll have some goodies to throw. See you Saturday at the parade!
