Unwrapped Success Puts Trolley in the Spirit!
Wow: It's the one word we could think of to describe the outstanding crowd for Fondren Unwrapped last week. This year's holiday open house literally had them in the streets with revelers urging us to "go around" on North State Street. There was simply no where else to stand as the celebration overflowed into traffic! And to those of you who chose to ride with us, we say thank you. We were steady all night with many happy families and friends on board. And it got us thinking: with as much fun as we had at that party, could there be other parties you'd have us be a part of? We're decorated and ready! The Fondren Express is booking fast for the remainder of 2009 and we'd love to get your date on our calendar. Check us out online and book to the trolley to add a bit of holiday charm!
Special thanks to Pearl River Glass Studios for helping to make our Fondren Unwrapped route possible.

Woodland Hills Garden Club Enjoys Charter
As a repeat customer, the Woodland Hills Garden Club enjoyed a recent outing to the home and gardens of the late Mississippi author Eudora Welty. This is the third time the club has chartered the trolley for their outings, saying it is the perfect way to transport everyone and leave the driving to someone else!
Speaking of repeat business, we welcome back Fondren Presbyterian Church, who, for several years in a row now, has chartered the trolley for Christmas caroling. Their annual outing is scheduled for early December.

JFP Best of: Cast Your Ballots!
It's election season! The Jackson Free Press Best of Jackson awards, now in their eighth year,
celebrate the best that the city has to offer. The balloting takes place in print or
online at www.jacksonfreepress.com through the middle of December, with the results in January.
JFP
publisher Todd Stauffer says giving readers an opportunity to vote on
the 'best of Jackson' fulfills a few different needs. First, it alerts
newcomers to a first-class business or restaurant they haven't tried
yet-or long-time Jackson folks to a new merchant or restaurant worthy of their
consideration. Second, it gives much needed recognition to local
businesses in Jackson that work hard to offer high-quality, unique
offerings. And, third, Stauffer says, "it's just a celebration of the
people, places and stuff that makes Jackson different and fun."
