Back to School Means Trolley Time!
Welcome back, students, from the Fondren Express! We are glad to have two schools, Millsaps and UMMC on our route, and are excited to be working with both in the coming days. At Millsaps, F.Y.E.
Student Director Chris Eden has purchased over 300 roundtrip tokens to be used by incoming freshmen. He plans to have the trolley pick up around 20 students every
Thursday or Friday around lunch for 8-10 weeks and provide them with a tour of
Fondren.
At the University of Mississippi Medical Center, a welcome back party tomorrow night will have students on board from 9pm until 1:30am. The students will be transported to and from a local night spot, and will know they have safe transportation back to campus. This is the fifth or sixth event we have been chartered for by UMMC and we're glad to have the future medical professionals riding with us again!

Sophia's: Fine Dining for Lunch, Dinner, Brunch
Are you a lunchtime treasure hunter? Consider Sophia's Restaurant at the
Fairview Inn the jewel of Belhaven. Reminiscent
of a French country eatery, Sophia's intimate dining, garden-like setting, and
award winning cuisine make this a fine choice for the business crowd at lunch
or the fine diner of the evening. Chef Gary Hawkins selects fresh, regional
southern ingredients and prepares them with a contemporary, healthy flair. Sophia's
Restaurant also features full bar service and an extensive, yet inexpensive,
wine list. Dress is casual, and reservations are recommended, but are not
required. Large parties are welcome, but they must be reserved in advance. For
a special weekend treat, plan a Sunday outing for brunch featuring a southern
buffet of assorted salads, entrée selections featuring comfort foods, and an
omelet and waffle station.
Menus, hours, and a map of Sophia's location can be found at FairviewInn.com.
