Back to School Bash? Charter the Trolley!
Hear that bell? It's time for school...and time to hop on board the trolley! Meeting classmates can be awakward and unnerving sometimes. But what if you could coordinate a fun event, one where the kids could just hang out over say, a pizza - or even ice cream? You can when you celebrate with the Fondren Express and Sal & Mookie's! We have three special packages, each including a ride through Fondren aboard the trolley, that would be perfect for a back to school get together. Visit us at FondrenExpress.com for all the details.

Southwest Air Spirit Magazine Features Jackson
Jackson, Mississippi takes
flight this month - thanks to a highly complimentary, gleefully enlightening article
in an airline publication. Spirit Magazine, the monthly periodical of Southwest
Airlines, profiles the "city with soul" in its August issue. With a circulation of over 3.1 million readers, the magazine is in every seatback of every Southwest Airlines Flight. Downtown Jackson Partners President Ben Allen
says Jackson
has so much to be proud of, adding, "the magazine is the hottest ticket in town
right now." Allen goes on to explain
that Jackson is
only the 5th city to be profiled by the airline magazine. Many of our sponsors are mentioned including St.
Dominic's Hospital, Sal & Mookie's, Bravo!, Broad Street, Fairview Inn, and
Bank Plus. Not flying Southwest anytime soon?
No worries: the article is online now at SpiritMag.com.

Jazz, Rock, and a Songwriter's stage. Children will enjoy a variety
of activities, including painting a permanent outdoor mural (in its 3rd year!) and there
will be
lots of food: Greater Belhaven restaurants will provide an assortment of
edible
treats. And what makes it even better? We'll be there! Ride the Fondren Express! For more on BLBN, visit the Greater Belhaven website.
