Get Your Start in Hollywood
The TV Academy Foundation's (this is the Emmy's people!) summer Student Internship Program provides over 40 industry-wide internships to college and graduate students from across the country, and has been hailed for more than a decade as one of the top ten internships in the country. The program gives college students in-depth exposure to professional television production during an eight-week summer period in Los Angeles.
Interns work closely with their hosts and designated supervisors in order to gain maximum overview of the work process in their category.
Application deadline is March 15, 2012.

Purpose: The Tyler Media Group intern position is designed to educate and introduce eager candidates to our evolving industry. Tyler Media interns will have hands-on, professional experience working close with knowledgeable team members within a diverse media company. Interns will assist in each division which includes TV (T30 Telemundo HD, Univision 36 HD- Oklahoma City and Univision 25 HD- Tulsa), radio (93.3 Jake FM, 97.3 KKNG, La Z 106.7 FM, Radio Disney AM 1560, and Community Talk AM 890/ 94.1 FM KTLR-OKC), outdoor advertising (Tyler Outdoor Advertising), and sales.
Qualifications: Applicants must be juniors or seniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in advertising, broadcasting, marketing, mass communications, or a related field.
Applicants must possess strong knowledge of AP style writing, communications, and social media skills, ability to meet deadlines and multi-task, as well as exhibit strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Compensation: This is a non-paid internship; however, academic credit may be available with approval from the student academic program.
Commitment: Annual summer internships begin in late-May. Interns work 12 to 20 hours per week for a minimum of 13 weeks. Specific hours of the week are flexible per division.
Top Five Intern Responsibilities: - Assist as needed with each division's tasks associated with various projects.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations and attending appointments with the sales team.
- Bring new ideas and assist in division campaigns and projects.
- Attend Ad Club meetings with the team members, if available.
- Arrive on time, dressed professionally for your scheduled division.

Stone Ward Reality Camp Internships
Stone Ward is currently taking applications for Camp Reality, a 10-week, full-time, paid internship program from May 28, 2012 to Aug. 3, 2012.
What: Paid internships When: Application period runs through March; decisions made Apr. 18. Who: Preferably juniors, seniors and graduates with core study in advertising related fields or marketing. Where: Little Rock, Ark. Why: To gain real-world experience!
The 2012 Camp Reality intern class will include one representative from each of our departments. Stone Ward is looking for students who are interested in marketing strategy, journalism, public relations, media buying and planning, creative writing, digital design and development, print production, broadcast production and graphic and industrial design.
We prefer applicants who are juniors, seniors or recent graduates. Interns will be paid $8 per hour.
Through Camp Reality, the intern class will team up to produce an integrated, strategic plan consisting of creative concepts, public relations initiatives, media plans and digital products that will be presented to a client at the end of the summer. While creating these materials, interns work alongside and often build lasting relationships with Stone Ward professionals. Interns are given guidance on how to complete projects but are encouraged to exercise their own creativity during the program.
Stone Ward, headquartered in Little Rock, Ark. with an office in Chicago, is one of the largest advertising agencies in the region. Stone Ward clients include Terminix, Sport Clips, U.S. Soccer, the Arkansas Department of Higher Education and Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield.
