Spring 2012 Internship - Marketing, Branding, Design
Position Location: Norman, Okla BraveMatters is a Norman-based marketing, branding and strategy agency with clients across the country; we are seeking strong candidates for intern positions available through the spring semester of 2011 with particular emphasis on corporate marketing (especially business-to-business communications), logo and website design, public relations and account planning. We ask for a minimum of 20 hours per week but are negotiable with the right candidate(s). Duties and responsibilities can include an introduction to SEO and keyword research/analysis, promotional graphic design work, social media account management and content research, blog content generation, business development research and more. Candidates should have at least an intermediate understanding of marketing concepts; preference given to candidates familiar with platforms such as CoTweet, Sprout Social, HootSuite, MailChimp and AdWords. Oklahoma Newspaper Internships & Scholarships
Almost 20 paid internships will be available at Oklahoma newspapers in summer 2012. Positions will be available in all regions of the state, and interns can earn up to $2,560 for eight weeks of full-time work. The program, sponsored by the Oklahoma Newspaper Foundation, is intended for college students interested in pursuing a newspaper career. More than 70 students from 17 state colleges have participated in ONF's internship program in the past four years. The application deadline is February 15.
SCHOLARSHIPS: The Oklahoma Newspaper Foundation also has a scholarship program that will award three $1,500 scholarships to Oklahoma journalism students for the 2012-13 school year. The scholarships are intended for students pursuing a newspaper career.

Tyler Media Summer 2012 Internship The Tyler MediaGroup intern position is designed to educate and introduce eager candidates to our evolving industry.
Qualifications: Applicants must be juniors or seniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in advertising, broadcasting,marketing, mass communications, or a related field. Applicants must possess strong knowledge of AP style writing, communications, and social media skills, ability to meet deadlines and multi-task, as well as exhibit strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Compensation: This is a non-paid internship; however, academic credit may be available with approval from the student academic program. Commitment: Annual summer internships begin in late-May. Interns work 12 to 20 hours per week for a minimum of 13 weeks. Specific hours of the week are flexible per division.
Top Five Intern Responsibilities: 1. Assist as needed with each division's tasks associated with various projects. 2.
