Friedman Tells Students the Most Important Thing is Imagination
In an increasingly flat world, Thomas Friedman encourages journalism students to nurture their imagination.
"When the world is flat, whatever can be done will be done," says Friedman. "The only question is: will it be done by you
or to you. Just don't think it won't be done."
A student task force led by instructor Chris
Krug streamed all three events live to the internet and also live blogged at
the luncheon. Students and attendees at the luncheon posted messages via
Twitter and Facebook. The archived videos, blog and Twitter feed from the
Gaylord Prize luncheon and two other sessions are available for viewing at http://gaylordprize.ou.edu.
