Gaylord College Hosts 18 Latin American Journalists for a Week

Murrow Program for Journalists run by the U.S. State Department. OU is one of a dozen universities that will host groups this fall.

Journalists are nominated for the program by the U.S. embassies in their home countries with the goal of increasing understanding of journalism and culture in the U.S. It is hoped that this increased understanding will enable the journalists to provide more balanced reporting in the future.
