| PHIL HARDING-BBC, AT GAYLORD THIS WEEK
 Phil Harding, former executive and editor at the BBC, will be at the
Gaylord College of Journalism & Mass Communication at the
University of Oklahoma March 24-27. Harding will be visiting as a
precursor to an intersession study abroad course taught by Gaylord
College Dean Joe Foote and Ralph Beliveau in London this coming May.

| DINING ETIQUETTE LUNCHEON
The Dining Etiquette Luncheon will be on Thursday, March 27th at Noon in the Library of Gaylord Hall.
If you are suspicious of that second fork in a place setting or unsure
of what to do with an iced teaspoon, come dine on us! You will also
learn some very important information concerning appropriate attire,
small talk, and other tips and tricks to make it through your meal.
Don't let that talking stain be the life of the party! This free
luncheon will solve the mysteries surrounding dining etiquette.

BE A GAYLORD AMBASSADOR

The
Gaylord Ambassadors are accepting applications for the Fall 08/ Spring
09 semesters. Applications will be available in Student Services,
Gaylord Hall 2533 and in other locations in the building. Applications
are due no later than April 6 with interviews to be conducted with

| OAB STUDENT DAY
The Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Annual Convention will be
March 27 and 28. Students are invited to attend on Friday, March 28 for
a full day of seminars and award program for the annual Student Day.
The convention will be held in Downtown Oklahoma City at the Cox
Convention Center/Renaissance Hotel.
Registration is free for students on Friday and includes a continental breakfast and luncheon.
On March 27 students are also invited to an informal resume tape critique from 3-5 p.m. at the same location. For more information visit the Gaylord Web site or contact Heather Spencer.

CONGRATS JAIMIE GROTJAN!
Congratulations to Jaimie Grotjan! She placed as a finalist in the Photographer's Forum magazine
photography contest and will be published in the Best of College
Photography Annual 2008. Jaimie is a sophomore in the Gaylord College
and a photographer for the OU Daily.

| DEGREE ORIENTATION DATES
The first enrollment window opens April 6 but you must be advised PRIOR to enrolling. Students should schedule an appointment at iadvise.
- Undergraduates
with up to 60 credit hours, must participate in a Degree
Orientation session with your adviser.
- Undergraduates with more than 60 credit hours may be advised via e-mail with your adviser.

Loan Vu has been selected by the American Association of Advertising Agencies for their Minority Advertising Internship Program. She will intern for
three months at McCann Erickson in Detroit.
Callea Bogdon has been
chosen as a summer intern at TracyLocke Advertising in Dallas.
